Lauren Johansen writes middle grade and young adult fantasy (also poetry and, apparently, blog posts). Since she loves those genres so much, she also edits MG and YA, with a special interest in fantasy. She’s studying editing and publishing at BYU, with a minor in creative writing. She’s edited at Leading Edge Magazine (slush pile reader and fiction director), BCC Press (proofreader), and Sally Port Magazine (editor). She enjoys hiking, rock climbing, traveling, learning languages, and hearing people’s life stories. She’s obsessed with all things with wings (especially dragons!).
